A Tough Mind and a Tender Heart (Chapter 1) from Martin Luther King Jr.'s book The Strength to Love opens with Matthew 10:16 Be Ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves and goes on to talk about "life at it's best is a creative synthesis of opposites in fruitful harmony. The philosopher Hegel said that truth is found neither in the thesis or the antithesis, but in an emergent synthesis which reconciles the two."
This emergent synthesis which reconciles two opposite forces is the voice of life in peace and harmony with the constant change agent that is eternally propelling destinies cycles.
In every way it is AND not or.
